Care Diploma Level 5: Introduction

The Level 5 in Health & Social Care is aimed at Deputy and Registered Managers and Seniors currently working within the care industry looking to attain a nationally recognised qualification. The focus of the Level 5 in Health & Social Care is to assess and guide the development of skills, knowledge, management and advanced practice. These relate to the health and social care workforce in the Adults and Children & Young People’s sector. Learners in England must achieve a minimum of 80 credits to gain the Level 5 in Health & Social Care. Learners in N. Ireland and Wales must achieve 90 credits for Management and 80 credits for Advanced Practice. The QCF diploma is the required qualification for registration and regulatory requirements in the social care sector for England, Wales and N. Ireland.
