In these challenging times across the globe, we are reminded of the importance of British Values.
Safeguarding legislation and training have been updated several times to support these values.
Some of the changes in Safeguarding training has led to the following subjects being included:
- Cyber Bullying
- Radicalisation
- Modern day slavery
- Isolation (as a direct result of the Pandemic)
Access Skill have secured full funding from the European Social Fund, to allow care sector organisations to complete unit accredited safeguarding courses in the following areas:
- Bedfordshire
- Luton
- Northamptonshire
- Milton Keynes
The courses are delivered by live tutor-led action learning workshops online, with the accompanying workbook being completed during the session. Each session is 1.5 hours long, with group interaction and experienced tutor support. Each course is accredited with a recognised leading awarding body certificate.
