Skills for Care has released a comprehensive action plan following its participation in the Social Care Workforce Race Equality Standard (SC‑WRES), aiming to drive meaningful improvements in racial equity. The data revealed under‑representation of Black and minoritised ethnic colleagues in senior and higher-paid roles, alongside disparities in appointment and retention rates.
