Funding Options for Health and Social Care Qualifications

We provide flexible funding options to make health and social care qualifications and training accessible for both individuals and employers. Affordable instalment plans are also available to help spread the cost when paying in full.

Access Skills is committed to making Health and Social Care Qualifications trusted, accessible and affordable for both individuals and employers. With multiple government-backed funding options, including the Advanced Learner Loan and LDSS scheme, it’s never been easier to start your training.

Our team will guide you through eligibility criteria and help you access the support you need to upskill your workforce or progress your career.

Whether you’re a carer, team leader or service manager, funded qualifications can make a real difference to your confidence, compliance and career development.

Advanced Learner Loan: Available to individuals aged 19 and over, this loan helps cover course fees for approved health and care qualifications, including our Level 5 Diplomas. The loan is not income-dependent, does not require credit checks, and repayments only start once your income exceeds £27,295 per year.

Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS): Designed for employers in adult social care, this scheme supports the training of non-regulated care staff, including deputy and CQC-registered managers.

Eligible employers in England can claim reimbursement for training costs incurred between 1st April 2025 and 31st March 2026, making it easier to invest in staff development.
