Health & Social Care Training Throughout England
The Advanced Learner Loan is a government care training funding for individuals helping fund health and social care qualifications at Levels 3 to 5, with no upfront fees and no credit checks required.
Access Skills, an accredited training provider, offers fully compliant and flexible qualifications that meet the loan’s criteria. Our team provides full support throughout the process, from confirming eligibility and gathering the required documents, right through to submission and securing funding.
The loan can cover the entire cost of your chosen qualification, allowing you to train without financial pressure. Repayments only begin once you are earning above the annual income threshold (£27,295), making it an affordable way to progress your career.

The new care training funding for adult social care employee development was launched in September 2024. Access Skills supports care providers with affordable, flexible care qualification and course options through the LDSS scheme.
Eligible adult social care employers in England can claim care training funding from the Adult Social Care Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS). The LDSS is available for non-regulated care staff, including Deputy and Care Quality Commission-registered managers and agency staff, within the adult social care workforce.
Eligible Adult Social Care (ASC) employers can claim care training funding for courses and qualifications on behalf of eligible care staff. This funding is for eligible care courses and qualifications that have been paid for and started between 1st April 2025 and 31st March 2026.
More information on the Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS) Funding is available on our simple LDSS Funding guide, which explains everything you need to know and take the next step to claim government funding for your care team.
ASC employers will be provided with access to the service in stages. ASC employers can express their interest in being invited to use the service by completing this form. After expressing interest via this form ASC employers will be contacted by NHS Business Service Authority to start the onboarding process.
