Government funded Level 3, 4 & 5 Diploma qualifications in Health and Social Care
Our courses are delivered using flexible tutor/assessor support and workplace observation.
Are you looking to progress in your career and want to obtain a social care diploma qualification at level 3 or 4? Or perhaps you are already a registered care manager, deputy manager or aspiring to be, and are still to obtain your level 5 Diploma?
Access Skills can offer Level 3, 4 and 5 Diploma funded qualifications to help you achieve your career goals.
Why Access Skills? We are the only training organisation to be approved by the National Care Association, with nationally recognised quality award recognition and we are 100% committed to helping you achieve your career goals and supporting the development of staff and leadership skills across the sector.
The Level 5 Diploma is recognised by regulatory bodies such as the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as a requirement for anyone looking to undertake a Registered Manager position. We can offer this programme to eligible learners who are supported by their employer as part of a government funded Higher Level Apprenticeship. The programme is delivered flexibly to support you in your workplace anywhere in England at times suitable to you. More details about the apprenticeship programme can be found HERE.
If you are interested in undertaking a Level 3, 4 or 5 Diploma we can also provide you with access to Advanced Learner Loans. We have limited allocation left for this funding type, but our allocation will be renewed from September/October so we will be able to offer this funding type freely then.
If you are 19 or over when your course starts and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years you could be entitled to an Advanced Learner Loan. This government funded scheme pays your Access Skills course fees for you so you can start your programme immediately.
There are no credit checks and your income is not assessed when you apply for the loan. You are not required to make any repayments of the loan until you are earning over £27,295 per annum. Where repayment occurs, you start to repay in April of the year after your course is completed, but only if you are earning more than £27,295pa at that time. If your earnings are below this, then you are not required to repay anything until earning more than £27,295pa.
If earning more than £27,295pa then repayments once the course is completed are calculated at 9% of the income earned above this sum i.e. if earning £29,000pa repayment would only be £12.77pa.
If you work for a registered care provider and are serious about developing yourself and your career by gaining a Level 3, 4 or 5 Diploma, then Access Skills is the perfect choice to support you in working towards and achieving your qualification.
