Who is it for?
The Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is for Carers and Care Assistants who work in the Health and Social Care Sector and is ideal for front-line staff helping adults with care and support needs, whether working in residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, day centres or another clinical healthcare setting
What will you learn?
The Level 2 allows learners to develop and demonstrate competence in areas of health and social care. They will also develop technical skills, knowledge and understanding related to the specified job roles. Learners have the opportunity to take a general qualification in health and social care, or they may specialise in dementia care or learning disabilities.
What is provided during the course?

Course task activities based on specific workplace requirements of your job
Relevant resources (including free Learner access to Quality Compliance Systems Ltd, which provides extensive operational policies, procedures and tool kits) to help you provide evidence of your understanding and knowledge and complete the workplace task activities.
One-to-one tutorial support provided remotely to you
Webinars and Workshops (both live and recorded) providing relevant tutorial support
Workplace observation assessment – This allows you to demonstrate your competency in performing workplace tasks and responsibilities.
Flexible remote access to tutors/assessors Monday to Friday during office hours
Learning portal to view all your activities, access resources and monitor your progression.

For Care Assistant roles — achieving a Level 2 RQF diploma qualification will confirm competence in the relevant areas and will also support progression to further development:
Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (RQF)
or for those who want to pursue specialist qualifications reflecting the context in which they work
