The Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare is for those who currently work in residential childcare settings. It gives you the opportunity to develop and demonstrate competence in job roles, such as a residential care worker or a short break carer.

You will have the opportunity to develop and demonstrate a range of technical and wider sector-related knowledge such as the development of children and young people, how to support positive outcomes, safeguard and protect children and young people in residential childcare and how to support children and young people who have experienced harm or abuse.
What Is Provided During The Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma?
We provide you with lots of specialist resources to help you progress through the programme, such as course task activities based on specific workplace requirements of your job, relevant resources to help you provide evidence of your understanding and knowledge to complete the workplace task activities (including free Learner access to Quality Compliance Systems Ltd.
These tools will provide you with extensive operational policies, procedures and tool kits), one-to-one tutorial support provided remotely to you, as well as webinars and workshops (both live and recorded).
You will also be provided with relevant tutorial support, workplace observation assessment and flexible remote access to tutors/assessors Monday to Friday during office hours.
Finally, you will have access to a learning portal to view all of your activities, resources and you will be able to monitor your progression throughout your course.
What Funding is Available for the Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma?
