New Care Staff Induction Training

Our Induction Training programme is for new starters in residential care homes, day cares, domiciliary care, community services and individual employers to equip their staff with the knowledge and understanding required to undertake their new role with confidence.

This three day course covers the following topics:

  • Health and Safety and Fire Safety
  • Assisting and Moving
  • Medication Management
  • Person-Centred Approaches and Duty of Care
  • Infection Control
  • Communication and Information Handling
  • Safeguarding Adults and Children
  • Basic life Support and First Aid
  • Mental Health, Compassion, Dignity, Privacy, and Equality and Diversity
  • Food Safety, Fluid, Nutrition
