The Level 5 Diploma is aimed at managers and senior practitioners working in health and social care who ideally should have achieved qualifications in related areas at level 3 or above. The qualification is intended to be that required by those who are currently employed as a Registered Care Managers or Deputy Care Managers.
It allows managers to develop knowledge, understanding and skills related to the leadership and management of staff in Adult Health and Social Care and responsibilities for business development, financial control, organisational resilience and continuity as well as for managing risk and leading on change.
